Adopt A Stranger

There are so many people I see that are alone;
That are hurting,
And once I too was alone,
And hurting.
But something that I’ve learned is that you don’t have to be.
I’ve been adopted and loved by mere strangers who brought me into their homes and families.
I’ve been loved the most by people who made a choice and took a chance on a stranger.
So, just adopt them.
Adopt those who are lonely and lost;
Those who are in need of love,
And in need of hope.
Because this world is broken,
And is full of pain.
We can make a difference by growing our hearts and our homes, 
And, one by one,
We can make this world a better place.
