Did you pray for me?
When I forsook your house because of your own hands, did you fall on your knees before God?
Did you search your heart?
Did you ask Him, “why?”
When the chasm between us widened, did you cry out to Him to restore your relationship 
with your daughter?
Did you pour out to Him your sins and shortcomings?
Did you offer–promise him anything?
Everything?
Did you beg God for me?
Your child. 
Your love.
Did you pray for me?
Were your knees bruised?
Was your heart broken?
Did your soul weep?
Did you ache with sorrow?
Did you seek the face of God Almighty:
The Creator of the Universe?
Did you seek Him for my sake?
Tell me.
I want to know.
I want to know if you have wept and bled for me as I have wept and bled for my family.
I want to know if I was worth your tears;
If I was worth your prayers.
