That Which is to Come



We are surrounded by so much pain and suffering that it is hard to tell if anything will ever be right.

There is just so much that is wrong–

So much that we can’t seem to fix.

But we know that there is no need to fear,

For we know that there is a fighter who fights for what is right;

All throughout the day,

And all throughout the night.

We know that He sees the pain of His people and seeks to bring about healing and restoration, 

Not only for now,

But also for all eternity.

We hold onto His promises and know we don’t have to fear because He fights for us,

And we know that those that fight against Him and His people will be overcome,

And that they will become a far off, distant memory–forgotten.

For that which is here is passing away and we must set our sights on that which is to come.
