Where are You?
Lord, where are you!
This pain fractals through my veins;
The scars carving themselves into my already bleeding heart.
Lord, how much do I have to bleed for you see me?
How much pain do I have to endure before I can feel your comfort;
Before I hear your voice,
Before you give me peace?
Because this blood is running rivers,
And I don’t think there is much left.
I’m right here;
Where are you!
I’m screaming into the abyss and the darkness surrounding me;
My throat raw and bleeding,
Where are you?
And why is it that when I try to draw close to you, you only seem further away?
You said that you’d always be here,
But I find that the only thing that always is is that I’m always here ALONE.
So, Lord, give me a sign,
Tell me what to do,
Because I seek you and you are nowhere.
